The Consul General of the Republic of Kenya Amb. James Muhati Buyekane paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Ma Wenfeng, Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province. Guangdong province covers approximately 180,000 square kilometres with a population of over 127 million, a leading economic powerhouse  contributing 14.58% of China’s GDP, has led China’s GDP growth for 37 consecutive years. With Guangdong-Kenya trade reaching USD 11.3 billion (7.46% of China-Kenya trade), the meeting reaffirmed commitment to strengthening bilateral trade, investment and economic cooperation.
